Based on years of experience, Dutch Mountings has developed the unique approach of utilising traditional skills and with earlier design solutions. For many artefacts we have our standard display element in house, specifically developed by Dutch Mountings for easy modification and precision fitting.

We combine benchmark with bespoke techniques and high quality workmanship to produce a subtle continuity between exhibits in a collection, and optimal aesthetic excellence for visitors. Each artefact is skillfully examined to make sure our display elements will provide the heaviest parts with adequate support. All materials used are reliable and acid-free and therefore beneficial for conservation. Our exhibit mounts are usually made from brass, finished with a lacquer coating and, if required, clad with felt.

Dutch Mountings work with a detachable system which is simple to install. It’s easy to adjust, allowing for upright or hanging positioning, and also practical for accompanying objects out on loan.

All display elements are made in our studio or on location.
